PickleballU is kicking off tournament season with a new event that brings fun competition to the courts just in time for Valentine’s Day. The Cupid Classic Pickleball Tournament runs February 14 and 15 and offers divisions for a wide range of skill levels. It is a Non-DUPR event, ideal for players who enjoy structured competitive play without the pressure of ratings points. Gold, silver, and bronze medals will be awarded in all divisions, along with prizes for first place.
Tournament Format & Divisions
The Cupid Classic is split across two days to accommodate men’s, women’s, and mixed doubles matches. Players can choose events based on their rating range and preferred category.
February 14 — Women’s & Men’s Divisions
• Women’s 2.5–3.0
• Women’s 3.0–3.5
• Men’s 3.0–3.5
• Women’s 3.5–4.0
February 15 — Men’s & Mixed Divisions
• Men’s 3.5–4.0
• Men’s 4.0+
• Mixed 2.5–3.0
• Mixed 3.5–4.0
• Mixed 3.0–3.5
Players may enter more than one division. Registration is $65 for the first event and $35 for each additional event, making it easy to compete in both singles and mixed play or focus on one category.
A Fun Weekend on the Courts
Tournament weekends at PickleballU always draw a great crowd, and the Cupid Classic is expected to do the same. With medals, prizes, and two days of competition, it will be a chance for players to test their progress, meet new partners, and enjoy the social side of the sport. Skill-based events ensure balanced matchups and exciting rallies from start to finish.
How to Register
Registration is now open through the Swish app. Spots will be limited by division and time slots, so early sign-ups are recommended.
